More on the subject of birds

I saw this New Holland Honeyeater in the garden yesterday morning before driving to work. The bird was hopping all over our grevillea plant. It had yellow wings and was so pretty I had to take a photo. I was in a hurry to get to work early, and the bird was fast so the photos weren't good enough to pick up the colours.

This is an ink scribble I did earlier this year, before I was pregnant. Steve calls it my "I want a baby" painting. I plan to develop it further sometime.

Kalbarri Trip

Last weekend was fantastic. We spent the long weekend at Kalbarri. We went to Kalbarri National Park, took lots of photos of flowers and saw the Pinnacles. I love Western Australia, it is so sparse and beautiful. I’m 6 months pregnant btw.
