Brooklyn’s beauty and charm draws people to the area. Situated on the northern point of Sydney and located in the Hornsby Shire Council. Otherwise known to many as the charming fishing village on the right when crossing the Hawkesbury bridge northwards on the M1. A place for picnicing, fishing, and sailing, it is also a ferry point to Dangar Island, it’s the beginning of the Oxfam Walk and a rest point on the Great Northern Walk. To eat in town there is Fish and Chips or cafe’s to choose from.

The Cottage is an initiative between the Brooklyn Community Association and the Hornsby Council.
